More than extra virgin olive oil
Latini is a brand defined with entire identity, using its historical story, through the design on the bottle. Evoking this story by designing a label resembling a chequered shirt, „dressing up“ the bottle of olive oil seems as a sort of portrait of our grandpa. Text on a card tucked into the label's „shirt pocket“ tells the story of Latini family behind the product.
About us
Get to know the best that Istria has to offer, taste and learn about Istrian extra virgin olive oil. Visit our family farm and taste a golden drop of extra virgin olive oil along with other local products such as prosciutto, cheese, olives and wine. Through the unique design of the bottle that looks like a checkered shirt, and makes a kind of portrait of our great-grandfather, a family story was told that attracted world design awards, and the quality of olive oil confirmed by numerous diplomas and positioning of our oil in FLOS OLEI, a guide to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world.
A century old story of a man who with his work and effort cared for his family on a daily basis, and once for a *žurnada (daily wage) he received a plaid shirt which made him recognizable among the locals, and he was very quickly called Latinovi. The symbol of a plaid shirt has left its impression even today, and through our ancestor who often wore a plaid shirt, according to an old Istrian custom, our family received its “name through names”. We, the Latinovs, in our birth place a few generations later, have continued with the family heritage and the story by nurturing the century old tradition of our ancestors; the story of the plaid shirt whose symbol is used through all of our products, with the desire for creating a recognizable quality and preserving the family identity and tradition.

The LATINKA extra virgin olive oil is a mixture of the indigenous olive varieties Buža, Rosignola, Istrian Bjelica, Leccino and Pendolino.
TASTING EXPERIENCE
Olive oil tasting
Duration: 60-90 min
A guided tasting of Latini extra virgin oil is an introduction to getting to know tradition, our family and what we produce with pure love.
In addition to learning something about the production of olive oil, its processing and consumption, you will be able to taste 3 types of oil of different intensity and 4 flavored oils (different variations with the flavors of garlic, chili and rosemary).
The tasting includes drinks for children and adults.
PREMIUM tasting
Duration: 120-150 min
Premium oil tasting is an opportunity to taste all our products.
We start with a tasting of 5 different types of oil so that you can learn to recognize the flavors and aromas of extra virgin olive oil. This is followed by a tasting of 4 more types of flavored oils with the flavors of chili, garlic and rosemary, as well as dry cuts of prosciutto, ombolo, sausages, pancetta, cheese, olives, homemade bread.
The price includes drinks for adults and children - water, juice, a glass of Malvasia and a glass of Teran, as well as several types of liqueur.
After the premium tasting, a visit of domestic animals is optional.
